my testimonial
Halimah is a determined girl who is also focused and gives her best in everything she does. Calm and composed, she is able to face all challenges with equanimity. Her focus and determination earned her a Good Progress Award in 2004.
During class time, Halimah is an attentive, diligent and co-operative student who is willing to contribute her thoughts and ideas. She is very interested in Art and Craft. Her keenness and passion for Art and Craft was reflected in her active participation in various Art and Craft competition and activities organized both within and outside school, such as the New Water T-Shirt design, Stop Smoking Campaign and painting of a collage at the school’s Tan Kah Khee Garden.
Halimah shows a keen interest in the Performing Arts. She is a member of the Angklung Ensemble and participated in the ART’S Nite, Speech and Prize Giving Day and Chinese New Year Concert. Her effort and commitment towards her Co-curricular Activity was rewarded when the Angklung Ensemble clinched a Gold and Silver award at the Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging of Instrumental Ensembles in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Halimah’s amiable personality endears her to both the senior and junior members and this has helped her work collaboratively a high level of performance.
Halimah displays her sense of social responsibility by her willingness to serve others through her participation in Community Involvement Projects such as helping out in St Luke’s ElderlyCare and collecting canned food for Food for Heart Charity Drive.
Given the right environment and motivation, Halimah will be able to do well in her future endeavours.
